I outgrew the Seca sometime in 1985. I started looking for a new bike, and settled on the 1988 Yamaha FZ-750. I learned my lesson, and decided to shop around this time. While checking out prices at Cycle World, I found they had leftover 1986 Ninja 900's for $4,100, or $600 less than the 750.  I supersized. In 1991 I started running track days on this bike, until I crashed it in 1988.
