4-17-2004: I ordered a damper from Hyperpro. I picked their speed-sensitive side-mount so I could keep the top area clear for a helmet camera install. Unfortunately, they sent me the wrong damper; it's too short to fit. Hopefully, I can get a replacement in time for my upcoming track day.

I got the correct length (140 mm) from Hyperpro. It fits fine, but I think they owe me $50, because the 75 mm one I returned was a RSC unit and its replacement was not.

It works well and clears the trim panel.
