To make a long story short, a bunch of my friends started going to track days with me. We all bought lap timers. Soon, I discovered that most of them were going faster than me. I started a spreadsheet to calculate how much go-fast parts would be for the ZX-9, and I soon came to the conclusion that it would be wiser to sell the nine and buy something more track-oriented. I found a ZX-6RR on eBay in November of 2003 and bought it. It's being shipped to my office because we have a loading dock.

Yay! It just came in. (1-5-04) I spent the morning cleaning the warehouse. I'll uncrate it later, but I did remove the box. It is green. And yes, I made noises while sitting on it.

With some help I uncrated it today (1-7-04) and put it on my trailer to take home. It was a pretty straightforward process; unbolt the crate. Remove bike.

I had to roll it through the office to get it out the front door. Fortunately it fit.

The insurance company asked for photos of the bike, so I put the windscreen on.
