After three years in the house we refinanced and started some projects. Naturally, we ran over budget and some things aren't yet done. We had the work split into two phases; the deck and garage were done in the fall of 2005 and the interior work was started in January of 2006. The Contractor, Dimitri's Home Improvement, was excellent. Not the cheapest, but the work was top notch, and there were no typical "contractor" problems. He (Dimitri) made suggestions when our ideas wouldn't work, and did what we asked even when he disagreed with it. (For the record, we are happy with the results in both cases.)
