Wide-angle pictures (courtesy of my coworker Doug, who loaned me his Canon EF
17-40 f 4 L-series lens. I was interested in the 16-35 f 2.8, which is almost
twice as much. Now that I've played with the 17-40, I'll save my pennies. I need
the speed, but having a lens that wide was a treat. I was able to get shots
otherwise unobtainable.)
